Q. How long have you been in business?
A. Any Color You Like has been in business since 1988.
Q. What Brands of paint do you use?
A. We will use whatever brand of paint you require, however, we prefer to use Sherwin Williams Paints.
Q. Is there a difference between those $55/gallon paints I see and the $25/gallon paint?
A. Yes! there is a HUGE difference between them. The lower cost paints do not have as much volume solids. Which is to say, the actual paint film that remains on the surface after the solvent has evaporated. In the case of latex paints, the solvent is water.
Q. Why do my estimates range so vastly?
A. Paint estimates can range a great deal. A lot of contractors will cut corners on prep work in order to deliver a low price. Additionally they may also cut corners on the quality of materials they use. Any Color You Like provides detailed estimates in writing, covering all of the nuances that may be individual to your project, and we only use top of the line materials and paints.
Q. Why do I need an experienced professional? Painting is easy, right?
A. It’s hard to overstate the importance of experience. There is no such thing as "cookie cutter" paint jobs, where the same procedures can be used over and over with the same good results. Every home is different and will require different amounts and types of preparation as well as different mixes of products to achieve lasting results. We have been in business since 1988, and have the experience you need to complete your job efficiently.
Q. What about the environment?
A. The environmental is an issue that faces us all. Any Color You Like strives to minimize the direct impact on the environment by using 'green' materials that release fewer VOC's into the atmosphere. There are many lines of paint now that are "green approved" and we use them whenever possible.
